Grobin the Dog
Grobin the Dog is a hard-luck kinda guy with a go-go attitude. When the odds are against him is when he brings out his best. Together with his pup, Moxy, and the multi-role, Grimpus Mouse, Grobin’s adventures find him rebuilding a house, on the hunt for the (not-so) perfect x-mas tree, growing bigger pumpkins, racing to find firework stands that aren’t sold out, and battling hungry bugs on Thanksgiving.
Grobin draws upon the charm and influence of early 20’s and 30’s animation. It aspires to capture a small fragment of that ramshackle magic that remains alive in those scratchy, flickering gems.
The Boo Bums
The BooBums are a plucky trio of hobo ghosts who train hop from town to town in search of adventure, mischief and above all, food. Their mobile nature is kept up by the ever-pursuing Spook Stopper, Crimpshine Cat. Of their many mis-adventures, one particular halloween finds them looking for a rumored “best candy ever” in a haunted house.
The BooBums drawsupon the charm and influence of early 20’s and 30’s animation as well, but also equally as informed by the nostalgic (and potentially over-romanced) era of railroad tramping.

The Grobin "universe" will eventually span to cover many more faces and characters. Some smaller players can be spotted in existing books. The "Abysmal Arachnids" are one particular group; the lot of surly spiders show up quietly here and there. Grimpus Mouse is anti-villain to Grobin's anti-heroics. Crimpshine Cat is a Spook Stopper (ne: ghost buster) who would trap The BooBums... if could only catch them. Definitely a classic foil.
Further down the line, I hope to see the Crow Murder Detective Duet show up, as their mysteries will open new doors.
